We have seen many Bollywood movies and when it comes to Bollywood things which clicks in our mind are music, vibrant colours, clothing, dance and of course ROMANCE. 

       Remember the first thing i mentioned is MUSIC so we have many categories in music also like Item numbers, pop , jazz , hip hop, classical and SUFI. Here we will be discussing SUFI MUSIC IN BOLLYWOOD.

        Sufism, mystical Islamic belief and practice in which Muslims seek to find the truth of divine love and knowledge through direct personal experience of God. It consists of a variety of mystical paths that are designed to ascertain the nature of humanity and of God and to facilitate the experience of the presence of divine love and wisdom in the world.

           Let me tell you Bollywood movies are loved in different countries of world and Sufism and Qawali are loved by even those who don't understand Urdu/Hindi .

      So here are some Qawali which were presented in Bollywood movies and were loved by everyone. Some Qawali/Sufi music were so hit that people don't remember the name of the movie but the Qawali or u can say the only thing which was good in that xyz movie was the Qawali.

       Here i am mentioning some of the very hit Qawali or Sufi number in Bollywood movies which were loved by everyone.

On the top of the list is

1) Kun Fayaqun

    So do you remember the movie name?? Most of you will say NO... Right .. Because it was a big FLOP in Box office.

KUN FAYAQUN means in urdu is HO JA .. that is when Allah says KUN FAYAQUN that things happens instantly.. 

                      Coming back to it This Qawali was presented in Movie: Rockstar

                Again Do u remember name of the movie? No right... Because it was another big FLOP for Bollywood.

      This was another mega hit SUFI tribute by AR RAHMAN but can't do big for movie.

3) Khuaja mery Khuaja

 Again a mega hit SUFI tribute by AR RAHMAN but this movie was also a flop movie on box office

This Qawali was presented in movie JODHA AKBAR which was historical movie showing the Mughal era and story revolves around the great King Akbar

4) Bhar do jholi

     This Qawali was originally sung by Sabri brothers from Pakistan with little changes this Qawali was added in Blockbuster movie Bajrangi Bhaijan. Although it made a huge controversy but then it was loved by everyone across the borders.

5) 'Is Shaane Karam Ka

popular Qawwali of it's time - 'Is Shaane Karam Ka' from the movie Kachche Dhaage, although it was picturised in the most pathetical way and movie was also a flop but The Qawali was sung by Shehenshah (king) Nfak

sung and composed by King of Qawali ustad Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan.
